I love Mediterranean food and this place does it right. It's a cafeteria style so you pick & choose your food. The only problem here is have so many delicious dishes to chose from. I highly recommend this place for couples group's & families. Prices are pretty reasonable as well.
Awesome downtown grocery with an amazing build-your-own salad bar, and a variety of hot food available. I love the shawarma!
A Gem That Keeps Getting Better with Time I've been coming here for years, and somehow, this place just keeps improving with age. The staff is absolutely incredible--always going above and beyond to make every visit special. One of the standout features is their thoughtfully curated selection of olive oils and wines, with quality choices from around the world. Their olive bar is a dream--it's massive, and I can't get enough of the marinated string cheese, baklava, and other delicious offerings. The bakery? Absolutely top-notch. The only area I feel could improve is the coffee bar. While the baristas are super helpful and great at finding a drink that matches your flavor preferences, I do wish the coffee had a stronger, more robust espresso punch. Pro tip: Stop by around 5 PM to snag their breakfast rolls and turnovers for just $1! Such an incredible deal. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out--it's a true gem!
Very good place with many food Mediterranean options. Food comment is when picking up food in the hot bar, the server put very small sides, kids sizes..... Other thing is about the case for to go. It degrades too fast. It is a big problem when taking food for to go.
I was so excited when stumbled into this place! Cute little market with adjacent restaurant for small bites and drinks... Food selection very diverse. Service great. Will definitely check out again when in Houston
The store it self is wonderful. Stocked with all kinds of food items, I especially loved the fresh fruit from the bar and you can sit outside at the table with chairs after purchasing lunch items and eat. I recommend a visit to this establishment.
omagurrrrr!!! I'm OBSESSED!!! I have passed by here, people talk about it, but I never go in, wanna know why? because I didn't know where to park. insert eyes emoji. I know I know...!!!! but what can I say.... So this place gives me NY vibes, it's smaller than the other location for obvious reasons, But I like this place WAY more than the other location. PARKING, there's street parking and GARAGE PARKING!!!! wahoooo!!! I parked in the garage and found the entrance. btw there's only one entrance I found, but there could be two idk... They have a pizza area, HUGE bakery area, and a hot foods, I got lasagna (wasn't amazing but I didn't mind because I enjoyed my sides) husband got beef over rice, don't come here starving because you will want to buy out the place. They got a second floor with wines, and more food stuff, it's connected to a little restaurant, and has drinks/ beer there too. There is a fabulous selection of a lot of things, I would say this place is a GEM. Highly recommend if you are in the area, or even looking for things in downtown. great for casual lunch/ meet up! even outdoor seating available.
This is a fun place to get lunch or dinner, a snack or other gourmet food downtown. There is a sitting area and a lot of options for warm and cold prepared meals. They have a salad bar and other similar food sections. They also have a drink section. Its easy to grab and go or get something prepared. They have so many options for foods, desserts, basic groceries, and random other items if you need a quick meal, snack, snack or gift.
Such a big store, right in heart of Downtown, opposite Discovery Green...! Definitely owned by a sheik of sorts ..... The concept is like Central Market- where u can purchase groceries, but buy salads, soup, pizza, panini..(u name ut they got it) including a serviced restaurant and bar, that is Besides the one for self service, and happy hour. They specialize in their products, for example the coffee section- they had Cafe Au Laie, the one you buy in Louisiana, Indian instant coffee, Turkish coffee, and Mexican coffee etc....or another example is the oil, they had all sorts of oil from Avocado, to Walnut, to Mustard or Pistachio ( yes, u read it right, Pistachio!). Verry interesting! I got myself food from the self service section and also a spiced apple beverage. The food was fresh and tasting good, but it did take a while to make them understand that we had to be sure all ingredients were vegetarian. While I didn't hold it against them, it was funny when I told them that I was vegetarian so had to confirm what was the broth used in the soup, the guy was fumbling to get the right word for chicken stock .... This is a great place to shop for everything Mediterranean, including coffee pots. Also, a really great place to eat. A Must Visit and a must repeat visit too.
